At the Ducati Factory with Mendix: low-code digitization strategies

At Ducati on Tuesday 27 June we talked about engines, powerful engines: from downshifting gears to upshifting business is a snap. That's the advantage of low-code: you make innovation open and accessible to everyone.

We at WEGG were also there at the day organised by our partner Mendix at the Ducati Factory: on this occasion the protagonists of several success stories - Coopservice, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Siemens - talked about the benefits of having digitised their processes through the advanced tools offered by the Mendix platform.

Coopservice, in particular, we know it well: their plan to make their company digital by 2024 sees us involved on the Enterprise Service Management side with Ivanti.

With Mendix they are making their digital support for Operations even richer. With these powerful engines, even the experience of the pilot plays its part: our consultancy approach aims to identify and optimise those processes that are to be activated on low-code platforms. KPIs, flows, integrations... we like to apply those logics that drive the transformation of business functions into efficient, measurable, improvable digital services.

The day ended with a guided tour of both the museum and the Ducati factory, where 400 to 700 motorbikes are assembled every day. The memory of the World Championship 'fresh' accompanied us throughout the trip... which was magical!
