Con Regione Emilia-Romagna al Low-Code Day di low-code Mendix platform!

Al Low-Code Day Italy la presentazione del caso di successo di Regione Emilia Romagna su tecnologia low-code Mendix platform, con il racconto di un progetto che ci vede coinvolti in prima persona. 

On March 4th, we had the pleasure of attending theLow Code Day Italy, an event organized by our partnerlow-code Mendix platformin an exceptional location: the Ferrari Museum in Maranello.  
 
After an introduction by Alessio Crastolla on the endless possibilities that low-code opens up for communication between IT and demand/business, and the initiatives to foster increasingly specialized training through collaboration with universities, the event provided an opportunity to demonstrate the applicability of low-code in various sectors. 
 
We listened to the experiences of Andrea Ceci (Niew), a consulting company specialized in designing and delivering digital products and services, and Saverio Mottana (Masco Group Automation), who shared a real-life low-code application in pharmaceutical production. 
 
But the most heartfelt speech for us was by Giuliano Franceschi, Head of the Application Development Area at Regione Emilia Romagna, a project we followed closely, handling the functional analysis to gather requirements and implementing both the requirements and data management logic on the Mendix platform.  
 
During his talk, Franceschi illustrated how the Region chose to invest in this technology, rapidly developing , customized, and secure application system aimed at optimizing the management of data collection, processing, and transmission related to the 17 different building requests submitted by citizens and businesses to obtain PNRR funds. 

The event also offered a preview of some application screens , currently being released, which will soon allow the Region to improve communication with all the involved entities. 
 
Moreover, Mendix presented its roadmap, revealing several exciting innovations, including aneven more advanced use of generative AIto enhance the development experience and further accelerate the creation of digital solutions.
