Monitoring and managing the actual use of software within organizations is complex, very complex.

We discussed it on June 27 at the event "Connections. SAMMER Edition" which we organized in collaboration with our partner Snow Software by Flexera at the Ca’ La Ghironda Modern Art Museum, involving IT decision-makers from the most important organizations in the area.

In this context of discussion and exploration of best practices for license management, we had the opportunity to hear valuable testimonies from Arturo Preti, IT ERP Manager of IMA Group , and Alessandro Collina, CIO of Agrintesa, regarding the SAM projects they have successfully implemented in their companies.

This increased awareness of their application portfolio, especially regarding vendors like Microsoft, Oracle and SAP, gained with our consulting support and the Snow Software technology , has allowed them to reduce the risk of non-compliance. More importantly, it has enabled them to anticipate significant optimization scenarios for usage and contracts, backed by data and decision-making workflows.

A lively debate then emerged among the representatives of the companies present, with comments, clarifications, and sharing of experiences, which continued during networking and leisure moments in the museum spaces.
