Avere dati relativi all&#8217;utilizzo delle applicazioni SaaS \u00e8 l&#8217;unico modo per trovare <strong>le licenze allocate ma non utilizzate<\/strong> e <strong>per effettuare il downgrade<\/strong> da costosi pacchetti premium.<\/p><p>Noi di <a href=\"https:\/\/wegg.it\/\">WEGG<\/a>, per la nostra esperienza riguardo la consulenza software, possiamo affiancarvi in questo perch\u00e9<\/strong> <strong>le funzionalit\u00e0 di Power Apps<\/strong> spesso sono utilizzate per personalizzare ed estendere secondo le necessit\u00e0 aziendali applicazioni di Dynamics 365 come Sales e Customer Service.<\/p><p>Recenti aggiornamenti nella <strong>Licensing Guide di marzo 2024<\/strong> (e poi rivisti ad aprile) ci suggeriscono attenzione sul tema: <strong>era stato precisato<\/strong> <strong>il numero di \u201c<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/learn.microsoft.com\/en-us\/power-apps\/maker\/data-platform\/data-platform-restricted-entities#restricted-tables-for-create-update-and-delete-operations\"><strong>restricted tables<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u201d<\/strong> legate alle applicazioni Dynamics 365 alle quali i titolari di licenze Microsoft Power Apps non potranno pi\u00f9 accedere senza relativa licenza Dynamics. \u00a0<\/p><p>Nello specifico, nell\u2019appendice J (Change Log) si notava l\u2019aggiunta di alcune note a pi\u00e8 di pagina che stabiliscono:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Sales Use Rights<\/strong> (p.28): \u201c<em>Power Apps licensed users are not entitled to perform \u2018Table actions\u2019 that require Sales Pro\/Enterprise\/Premium licenses\u201d<\/em><\/li><li><strong>Power Platform Use Rights included with Dynamics 365 Applications<\/strong> (Appendix G, p-57-58)<em> \u201cPower Apps licensed users are not entitled to contain\/execute Dynamics 365 components, certain SDK operations and perform CUD operations to Restricted Tables.\u201d <\/em><\/li><\/ul><p><br \/>La notizia era stata segnalata anche da <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theregister.com\/2024\/03\/21\/microsoft_dynamics_365_power_apps\/\">The Register<\/a> che aveva chiesto spiegazioni a Microsoft\u2026 che pare aver fatto marcia indietro nella <strong>nuova Licensing Guide di aprile<\/strong>, dove entrambe le note sono state tolte (ma il Change Log non \u00e8 stato aggiornato).<\/p><p>Possiamo solo supporre che le modifiche annunciate a marzo non siano pi\u00f9 applicabili ma considerando che il modello di licenze per Microsoft \u00e8 complesso, in particolare per gli incroci di funzionalit\u00e0 tra Dynamics 365 e Power Apps (entrambi utilizzano Dataverse come modello di dati comune!), consigliamo di <strong>conoscere bene<\/strong> <strong>la natura di questi \u201cincroci\u201d.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p>Questo perch\u00e9, se dovessero rientrare nelle \u201c<strong>restricted tables<\/strong>\u201d, si consiglia la verifica preventiva con il vendor riguardo la presenza o meno di vincoli che richiedono licenza per avere certezza di non dover pagare per nuove sottoscrizioni a Dynamics.<\/p><p>Anche se il numero di utenti interessati potrebbe essere esiguo (tipicamente gli sviluppatori) <strong>la differenza di prezzo unitaria \u00e8 comunque considerevole<\/strong>: un abbonamento a Microsoft Power Apps costa infatti 20 \u20ac circa al mese per utente, mentre\u00a0<strong>un abbonamento Dynamics 365 CRM Enterprise<\/strong> costa sui 100 \u20ac circa al mese per utente (quindi quattro volte di pi\u00f9).<\/p><p>Se avete
